i think he means if you already the bigger fighter and dont even try to loose the extra pounds,it gives you an advantage, because the other fighter maybe had problems making the weight,or whatever reasons,so that crazy amount is just to guarantee no funny business,,,,,,imo anyways!

This is ******ed. Not only is 40 million a ridiculous amount of money to turn down for a blood test, but Manny's credibility is now in question which puts in question all he has worked for. The only thing he should do is take the fight and take the random tests. Its ridiculous that anyone would not agree with that. No its not fair to Manny, but this thing has turned into a nightmare that can be and has to be resolved. Even if he loses and clears his name he still has more to gain than what this will cause him, especially considering hes not a favorite to win the fight anyway.

Kind of ironic this whole weight thing considering they are probably going to take a fight with Yuri Foreman??

    No, you are wrong.

How exactly will Pac complying with the blood testing requirement by PBF clear his credibility? If Pac comes out clean, will Mayweathers and all the *****s like you going to admit to the world that you were wrong all along and that you were just bullshitting? And even so, what the **** is that worth to Pac (who will then be psychologicaly be affected in the fight)?

We can find it ridiculous that Pacquiao is stubborn about his belief that giving blood close to the fight will weaken him but life shows many other beliefs some us have that are quite ridiculous also, religious or not.... We can find many of those if we try...

I just say Pacman needs to fly back in the States and sit down himself with the authorized drug testing personnel to have the whole situation clarified and understood properly.

manny doesn't like taking blood from him too close to a fight, period. it has happened before when he fought morales the first time and he doesn't like it but was forced to do it because it was in the fight contract and you know what happened. so all this hoopla is nothing new to Manny.

yuri foreman doesnt count, because probably they would come again with one of those bs catchweights.........and then yet where is yuri going to get 10 mill for an extra pound.....he will rather die of starvation!

Im not a *****. It only takes simple common sense. First off, the main reason would be to keep him from using for this particular fight. In no way does it prove he was clean for his previous fights, but it certainly will erase the monumental doubt that will hang over his head if he doesnt test, because everyone has come out and said it will in no way affect him physically. His excuse is just too fishy to turn down 40 million dollars, think about it.
The only point youre right on is the psychological aspect if thats truly a concern, but Mayweathers team has done a tremendous job in creating a psychological war, that has backed Manny into a corner that he cant get out of. I feel bad for the guy too, because I dont think he takes drugs and hes just a fighter that wants to fight, but Mayweather is slick like a fox on this one. Look at all past superfights, its part of the territory. Boxing has always been surrounded by controversy, and Arum should have known better. He got outsmarted by Sanford and son.

Because I do think he is being unfairly plastered now, and he seems to be a decent person, certainly by his image compared to Floyd, but hey he needs to clear his name whether its fair or not.

Yes but Manny is certainly driven by what the money can do for his country and his people and this is a huge amount of money.
