Freitas was a good fighter, but he would not of been able to handle a prime camacho i know that much

Camacho stops him in a one sided fight.

This would look like Camacho vs Rosario except without the left hooks landing. Easy points win for Camacho.

There's a chance that Freitas lands something big early and forces Cacho to be negative for the 12. But I've never been that impressed by Freitas; decent, punched hard but didn't seemthay resilient.

Had some really entertaining fights (I like the Barrios fight; good scrap that one) but Camacho would be landing on will from the mid rounds on, The Brazilian would get pulled out in around 10.

The brilliant fireball that was the pre-Rosario Hector Camacho would have humilated poor Acelino Freitas BEFORE putting out of his misery, probably in the middle of round 4 by way of a tko. It would be very similar to the Bazooka Limon disaster..and I know that Limon and Freitas are not identical as fighters, stylewise...utterly no contest.

Camacho was brilliant at 130, and he beat Freitas up ala Bazooka Limon.

First of all, Freitas never compared to Rosario as a puncher, and even if he did land on Hector, it would be of no consequence...the thing to remember is that regardless of how loony and crazy Camacho has been over the years, with all the gaudy, even gay looking outfits that he wore in the ring, and no matter how his style degenerated into a ssuper safety-first type of thing, he had a toughness that was shown, however reluctantly, in both the Rosario and the Chavez fights..he took those big shots of Rosario, and soaked up that beating that JCC put on him like a man...and that's more than the quitter Freitas has ever shown. Early pre-Rosario Camacho blows Freitas away...the post-Rosario version of Camacho easily takes what few clean shots that Popo manages to land and wins an easy, dull decision.

I'm not as hard on Freitas as some of you guys. I thought he was high quality goods. But Camacho is a guy with so much talent and speed. He's tough as hell, and if Freitas gets in, let's not be crazy and say he doesn't have a puncher's chance but Camacho hasn't been knocked out yet and he's still fighting FFS. He's in his late forties and been up at Super Middleweight and back down to junior middle....Freitas's puncher's chance looks really small. His boxer's chance even smaller considering Camacho's speed and skill. Freitas has no edge here to speak of.

Yeah Camacho had a good chin, he would make Freitas look bad.
