I have no real vested intrest in Mayweather/Pacquiao. I don't know either one of them or anyone on their teams. I don't gamble (out side of the vCash). However I am a boxing fan, and this would be the biggest most important fight in the sport since Whitaker/Chavez. This fight in a historical context would be an even bigger fight in my opinion.

It would be a good fight as well. Pacquiao with his search and destroy style vs. Mayweather the calm counter-puncher. It may not be Gatti/Ward, but it would have been a good boxing match with both boxers able to hi-lite their respective skills.

Your friends and coworkers some who don't know anything about boxing. As well as those who do know the sport would talk about this match up before and after.

This would be a fight that boxing fans and sports fans would talk about perhapps debate for years.

This would be one of the bright spots on boxing.

It looks like it is not going to happen. It is clear to me that for what ever reason Manny Pacquiao or someone on his team dose not want this fight to happen. If there were no PED testing issue there wouldbe another issue for them.

Someone intrested in a boxing match dose not look to sechudle alternet fights: Yuri Foreman and Pauli Malignaggi. or for that matter thretten to sue or file a lawsuit against your prespectie opponent.

As each day passes it seems more and more likely that Mayweather/Pacquiao is not going to happen. I hope I'm wrong about this. I hope that after I type this I will learn that they have came to terms and the fight is on. However I am not optomistic any more.

to have the biggest fight of my adult life ruined because a supposed "warrior" is afraid of a blood test, and then files a lawsuit because his feelings are hurt by a 70 year old former coke head is just ridiculous

    No No No.
    Pac refused testing.
Thats because he is a ****ing CHEAT.
    But dont worry.
Someone will blow him in --- sooner or later.
Money talks, especially for those who dont have that much.

Pac is a juice head, that much is obvious. He will get off the roids, take the easier fight with Paulie and when his system is clean again, restart negotiating for the $40 million fight with camp Floyd. And that's exactly what PBF wanted out of this - win the media battle (which is quite a feat consdering Floyd's rotten image) and fight a clean opponent, to maximize his chances of a win. Pac's lawsuit is going absolutly nowhere. Pac is dancing to Floyd's tune.

Really? If you ask me, if not for the remarks from that chicken-**** Mayweather & his clan, this fight would already be signed, sealed & delievered.

I hope the ***** ends up in jail from his issues with the IRS.

This is exactly how I feel about the whole thing, and is the most accurate, truest assessment of it.

    First Mr. Sheep,

Please show us a source where PBF has said Pac is on PED's, because it doesn't seem to exist.

Second, what IRS issues are you referring to? This one: http://www.mlive.com/mayweather/index.ssf/2009/09/boxer_floyd_mayweather_agrees.html

    that was already settled?
