    floyd would be more likeable if he used the ali style trash talk such as the 'you cant hit what you can't see' and 'im too fast for you'

    instead of the 'im gonna make you my *****' **** he used on hatton.:nut

    He DID make Hatton his *****. So much so that Hatton fired his long time trainer and hired Mayweather's father.

    He isnt "popular", he is well known. If he was popular people would have attended his fight with JMM, as it was, people didnt care about him enough to go watch him live. He generates great ppv numbers because he is well known, people are intrigued on what he's gonna do, or they just wanna see him loose, thats why people would bother to watch him ppv but not actually see him live.

    I disagree. PBF is quite popular among Black people in large urban cities. Many of whom are not inclined to travel to see ANY live sporting event.

    casual fans have the bulk of PBFs PPVs, and the bulk of any other PPVs. hardcore boxing fans alone cant pay the millions that boxers earn.

    Well he's amazing to watch and he has been in a load of great fights, despite his style being mostly defensive.

    But he's also got really good at talking the talk, and building up fights. Being undefeated and with a big mouth will grab casual fans' attention.
