Whatever the reason is.........im one of many people in oz that are disappointed and pissed off:fire. It would have been big here, like the Roy fight at least. Green & Hopkins have a big following here, and people realize it would have B-hop fighting here would be something special. To be honest im surprised that Green didn't except the 40/60 split if what ive heard is correct. Not only is it still good $$$$ for him, but his one that always talks about fighting the big names if possible.
Quite correct! If Jones vs Green was held in USA it would not have been a big deal, a major fight, etc. Down under it was huge, a big thing. The fans over in Australia went crazy for Green-Jones & if Hopkins-Green happened in Australia it would be the same, maybe even bigger with Green beating Jones they way he did! If a bout with Green offers Hopkins the most money than any other opponent out there right now, then why has he turned it down? I see Hopkins schooling Green, so B-Hop must have his reasons! Shame as I (maybe I'm amongst a minority) was hoping this one happened!
All credit has to go to Green for beating RJJ but Hopkins is a HOF. How on earth does Green deserve a 50-50 split here?

Im pretty sure i saw hopkins interviewed a while back where he said he wanted the winner of dawson v johnson (on brian kenny maybe?), has that just fallen by the wayside? Not wanting to fight someone (dawson) is one thing but saying you want to get it on and then doing nothing is worse imo

Hopkins is a tough guy to make a deal with but I have to agree with him on this. No way should it be 50/50.
I have no doubt Bernard would school Danny, but even at 50/50 it's probably the most money he can make at the moment.
I hate the opinion that Bernard and Roy need a logical short term reason to fight each other. We all know it's a fight we wanted for over 10 years so lets make it happen. Roy v Trinidad happeneed ffs.
