yawn! this was played a lot before by ellerbe in his press releases and picked up by floyd fans. not many people would be convinced anymore with their charades. floyd can fight matthew hatton now.
Manny has done nothing to even justify rumours, never mind an investigation. Floyd and co made the comment to open up the possibility of two things: - if Floyd loses he has a ready made excuse, and by Manny refusing the test Floyd can always say it wasn't legit - it weakens Pac during negotiations It's a ridiculous stipulation to add to negotiations based on nothing more than Floyd Sr shooting his mouth off. It says more about Floyd that he'd let it ruin the fight.
This entire soap opera between Pac and Mayweather is ridiculous and, praise the Lord, it's now over!! In my mind, and most people who aren't on Floyd's nuts, this suspicion was snuffed when 1) Alex Ariza gave his account and testimony of Pac's training regiment, 2) Pac filed lawsuit, and 3) the NSAC made a decision and Pac complied. Pac handled this matter as well as anyone could...he didn't act like Mark McGuire and take the criticism lightly...he simply gave the media in this country too much credit. He had no idea this would turn into a witch hunt based on nothing but ignorance and speculation. Pac finally is calling Floyd out and "maning" up...Floyd is now going to show his true colors and fight someone else...it's pretty obvious now that Floyd never had the true intent to fight Manny Pacquiao...simply wanted to create a situation to justify turning down a fight that the media and the public wanted more than any other. This is par for the course if you're an unbiased spectator...I have been witness to this behavior for years now and am not surprised how this has unfolded... In fact, if you look at my previous posts i have stated often that this fight was doomed from the start and Floyd would do whatever he had to do to avoid pacquiao. Well, thanks Floyd for giving boxing yet another black eye!! One that it couldn't afford.
Kill the rumors forever? Have you actually thought of what you have just said or are you really that ******ed? So if he comes out clean and says "look I'm clean", Floyd and all you *****s will admit that Pac has been all along in all his previous fights, you were just bullshitting and that your suspicions all came from Floyd Sr's ass? What more if Pac loses, I can almost hear you idiots saying "see, without the roid, he loses".
NAH. Schaefer FH: If there was a third party involved or hired to do the blood-testing, who or what would it be? Schaefer: I have some suggestions. One of which was actually the one which Top Rank had recommended, which is the agency that does the NFL and Major League Baseball [The National Center for Drug Free Sports, based in Kansas City, Mo.] The problem is they only do urine. But I'm sure that if they do urine, they could probably retain someone else to do the blood testing as well. If it would be that agency, that would be okay with us as long as it's random, it's urine, it's blood, and it is cut off at a date prior to the fight which maintains the integrity of the tests. Wonder why they didn't accept it the first time. :huh ****************************************************************** Schaefer "We are OK to move off USADA," Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, who is representing Mayweather, told ESPN.com. "What we're saying, and what is important to us, is four things -- that the tests be random, that they include blood and urine and the time frame, meaning when do you stop the tests before the fight but know they will still be effective. Three of them we have agreed on -- random, blood and urine. So now it is a matter of the two sides working out the specifics of the cutoff date to assure it will still be effective." Arum Schaefer is making it up, Arum said without hesitation. ... It is not true, it is just not true. He is making this up now because he looks bad. He is making this up because he is trying to justify it to Mayweather. Lets see if he can justify it to Mayweather why this fight is now dead. Isn't the issue here, the "RANDOM" blood test? And has it been "AGREED" upon? :huh ****************************************************************** Schaefer "Now that I've learned more about this, boxing now will have an outspoken advocate for blood testing in the sport," Schaefer said. "I plan to ask Nevada to have Travis Tygart explain why blood tests are necessary. This is not about hitting a baseball, throwing a football or hitting a puck. This is a sport that's mano-a-mano, with guys hitting each other's heads. It's important that the strongest testing possible is in place." Arum "No. 2, we would agree to take the blood test in January within 30 days of the fight and any other random blood tests that the Nevada State Athletic Commission elected to do without a timeline," said Arum. "We're so confident that the Nevada Commission would do the right thing that we don't have to put a timeline in there." Kizer GL: As of now have any petitions been filed? KK: "No." :huh
lol cmon folks how can ya be so ****ing blind to what is going on...can u imagine if lebron or kobe said no to the ioc's random blood test.....**** is crazy...it aint about demands....put it this way...when the us olympic team goes to face the worlds elite they are required to take these test to make sure that the playing field is equal....if manny,i wont even say manny,if bob arum knew 100% that manny was clean then this shouldnt be a problem...he stands to make 200+ million, so to save face they wanna call mayweather a coward and this and that...i thought manny dont know what steroids or peds are or even look like , but overnight his ****** ass lawyer writing that coward ****...**** like this makes u wanna stop watching boxing because of a refusal of a random blood test....
Is Lebron asking Kobe for DNA analysis because Lebron's dad thinks Kobe has got to be on something? :huh
This should clarify some confusion. Schaefer "Now that I've learned more about this, boxing now will have an outspoken advocate for blood testing in the sport," Schaefer said. still a pac fan. still believe he's innocent. his refusal to USADA blood testing is more of a "**** off *****" to floyd may. he wont kowtow to the whims of a diva.
yes I did,, thorough out floyd's career he has always been bang on, on his weight, bang on.. So for this guy to state that floyd has a HISTORY of coming into a fight over weight is laughable. Floyd not making weight for a welter weight fighter and yet still under the welter weigh limit is still laughable, only because so many people think its such big deal. Floyd failed to make weight for a contracted weight is not the same as the official weight limit which he has never had a problem making. agin to pick this one issue as a big deal, is a waist of time, considering the fight is self is at the welter weight limit, not a contract limit. Castillio is a fighter that has history of not making weight
