Who at 147-154 Realistically Can Beat Floyd?

    In a way, I'm half disappointed but also half relieved not to see Pacquiao-Floyd. I'm a big Pacquiao fan but after seeing Pacquiao-Cotto, I honestly cannot see how Pacquiao can beat a fighter who's taller, has longer reach and is one of the best technicians in the sport.

    Now that the bout is scrapped, who do you see has a realistic chance of beating Floyd?

    Sergio Martinez has the best shot. I'm not sold on Paul Williams.

    I'm hoping for Mayweather-Williams on 3/13 now. Mayweather and GBP seem to have a deal with HBO and MGM Grand for that date (hence why Arum is talking 3/20 now), so I'm hoping we see something from Floyd that night regardless.

    I don't think there is anyone 147-154 capable of beating Floyd right now though. I think a fight with Williams would be easier than most think as well, and it will shut up a lot of **** talkers as well. :good

    Realistically? Williams, Mosley, Margarito, etc.

    I have to see Berto's next fight so I can gauge him more accurately.

    Cotto, after some time off, NEEDS a much better trainer. If he keeps his current one, he has no chance.


    I am not saying they will beat him guaranteed. But they have a much better chance than an old fat JMM or the brawler Hatton at 147.

    I'm struggling to find someone tbh.

    Mosley or Martinez would probably have the best shot but you just never know how much Mosley will age.

    I used to think PW had the best shot but he had real, real trouble with Martinez and Floyd would cause him even more problems

    floyd would be the favorite even against williams or martinez imo.

    I ran a poll regarding Floyd-Martinez and it seems the majority of fans see Floyd winning a decision.

    Mosley was outboxed by Cotto, and I cannot see a different outcome if Mosley fights Floyd.

    Margarito stylewise, might have the makings of an upset. Paul Williams would also be a formidable challenge with his height and reach. I think those two would have the best chances.

    both can , cotto could too at least until his fight with margacheato .
    mosley also has a chance , however i do not know who should be considerred the favorite between the two.
    maybe even cintron .
