I have heard that Martin's family have not always been happy of the direction and pace his career was moving at, and were instrumental in the split with Rooney. Also apparently the Sinclair/Moore Irish title fight might not be as close to signing as we thought it might be. I was speaking to a bloke that knows Moore in New York. James is now pulling pints for a living[he told me the name of the bar, but for the life of me I can't remember it now]. James is seemingly not happy with the purse that has been offered by Egan, and was believed to have commented that the money offered would be lucky to pay his return flight to New York.Take this last bit of Moore info with a pinch of salt, as I was told it in a bar where sometimes "bull**** flies", but to be fair to the bloke that was telling me this, he seemed relatively sober at that time. I'm not sure mate but I hope he does. Once he gets his promoters license he could run shows in the oddessy with me and Lindsay winning and retaining our world titles
Here is that documentary on Bernard Dunne that went out last night on RTE http://www.rte.ie/sport/other/2009/1231/dunneb_av.html
That's the trouble when Egan announces fights, dates, venues etc before he's sorted the particulars or, in the case of Sinclair, spoken to one half of the proposed main fight!
This is a touch harsh. Frank Maloney eats and sleeps boxing and takes a personal interest in his fighters, which was one of the main reasons the Darren Sutherland death hit him so hard. He always puts on value for money shows too. So as boxing sharks go, he's not the worst.
Here is the bunce show the year in special http://www.youtube.com/user/HitandMove3#p/a/f/1/1KsB2cROYRU Someone was kind enough to put it up.
That Bunce special was good it was my first time watching his show ,Rogie come across as real nice fella I hope he has a full recovery from is op.Did I hear Bunce say Martin Linsday was calling Bernard Dunne up .
Very good documentary ,Dunne comes across as a humble honest guy not the cocky dub as he is described as by many people Ive met in the past .It's still hard to watch the Poonsawat fight even now I can't imagine how hard it is for Dunne to see it .I look forward to seeing him and all the other Irish boxers back in action in the new year . Happy new year lads hope y,es have a good one. Tomo.
