what do you think of sergio martinez now, i remember having arguments with you a while back about him being a good fighter and you claiming he is a nobody and would lose to anyone half decent.

One thing I've never heard Arum called, at least with a straight face, is charming. He may be shrewd, but he's also a sleazy, manipulative liar of the highest order, and he says dumb **** on a pretty regular basis.

 

the fighters stand to make 40 million each. thats after Arum takes his 27 percent. so that would be about 12 million. But the thing is- Im sure Arum has it in his 1000 page contract that he recoups this expense and that expense and even makes a profit off of it- plus im sure he has side deals with HBO that are based on PPV and other promo sales that exclude Manny. What im sayin- is I would not be surprised if when its all said and divided- that he dosent make more than Pac.

Much like Don King he is where he is in large part because he has no qualms about lying and manipulating. He will take advantage of anyone and everyone if it serves his purposes. I've never seen any indication from Arum than a loudmouthed, sleazy thug in a suit. In the promotion business (as in the legal profession) sometimes that's all that is required.

 

Bob Arum is worse than Taxes and people wonder why him and Floyd and him and Oscar don't get along, the man is a thief.
