It's obvious to anyone with a bit of common sense that the rumours were started for a purpose - to antagonise Pacquiao - and to ultimately use that as an excuse to not fight. It seems to me that Manny tried to accommodate Mayweather in every way and make the fight happen, but Floyd would try and make his opponent bend-over and **** him in all manner of ways. Don't get too hung up with the details. It's a simple game of push and shove. You push and push and see how the other guy will take it before he pushes back. Manny took a lot - in my opinion, he should have told the Mayweathers to go **** themselves at the insinuation of illegal substances being used and then setting up this 'Olympic style' testing - but he manned up, and bit his tongue and didn't say anything. But the Mayweathers pushed again with random testing which could be at any time before going into the ring - as the word 'random' suggests. And it was only then, despite being accommodating enough to schedule testing whenever for urine tests, and at least 3 tests involving blood - including one immediately after the fight, did he say '**** it, and **** the Mayweathers' if they don't like it, and can't compromise even after that. Manny's rep has been questioned in the first place in regards to these new testing methods - that must be galling as **** for anyone who is clean - but to be again and again made to do things that way and this way at the behest of Mayweather, well, a man can only take so much bull****.
