It's 'cus your clueless mate. :good

...Of course I love it, that **** right there cemented Marco's legacy. Had he lost that fight, it would have put his legacy in pieces. One of my favorite fighters ever, exciting, and in my opinion, fought at a higher skill level than their first fight.

The first fight encompassed a top class skillset and a ferocious intensity as well as plenty of action and drama

I felt the third had all of this but at a lower level

I consider the third fight one of Marco's greatest ever performances. He never beat Morales before as decisively as he did that night, and although the action is not as great (It's up against the best fight ever anyway), it was still brilliant. "Not that good". Rubbish, if you love Boxing, you love that fight. It had something for everyone.

Most De La Hoya fights are boring.

Either that, or it's a case of the fight not living up to the hype :think

Barrera vs Morales III is a great fight, end of story. :good

...Alexis Arguello vs Aaron Pryor I is epic. My second. Your scorecard must be a joke though, mate.

I'm very happy there are others who share this opinion. I think Hearns-Leonard I is the most overrated fight in history, and by some distance. Barring about two or three rounds, Leonard performs especially poorly.

We should have a more positive version of this thread then: "Fights Which No-one Can Say Are Overrated"!

I'll start us off with my own top two:

    Arguello-Pryor I
    Vasquez-Marquez III

I'm not big on the Ward-Gatti fights or the Vasquez-Marquez fights, I love fights with action but not all out brawls with no regards for defense and ignoring of technical skills.

Marco Antonio Barrera vs Erik Morales I (Greatest 122lbs fight ever)
Yaqui Lopez vs Saad Muhammad II (Greatest 175lbs fight ever)
Michael Carbajal vs Humberto Gonzalez I (Greatest 108lbs fight ever)
Jose Luis Castillo vs Diego Corrales I (Greatest 135lbs fight ever)
Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier I (Greatest HW fight ever)

    Underrated fights:

Riddick Bowe vs Andrew Golota II
    Miguel Cotto vs Ricardo Torres

Hagler Hearns was a very good first round but it wasn't the greatest war of all time IMO.
