Probably not but i enjoy watching Mayweather, he fights in a way most other fighters and fans would love to be able to do.

Danny Lopez. The mix of slow powerpunching and a bad chin was epic.

He is only boring outside the ring.

I don't think many excellent fighters are capable of being consistantly boring.

Hopkins had the most extreme moments though.

The Taylor fights I was unable to stay awake during but impressively I did last until the final bell in the Eastman fight. Though I was never the same again afterwards.

Most of his other fights are perfectly pleasant to watch though.

I actually enjoy watching him fight. Its nice to see that there are still some great fighters who possess the fine fundamentals of the sweet science.

I would rather watch Mayweather than someone like Hatton, and someone like Pavlik, who is incredibly boring to watch unless he's fighting a someone who comes to him.

    I've never found genius boring.

True, and Sweat Pea is still twice the fighter Mayweather will ever be.

Also, Ruiz is boring as hell unless he is getting his head knocked into the third row.

    Absolutely.

Floyd Mayweather is as engrossing as Joe Louis to the conoseur.

He was a solid journeyman, but a better trainer, his son was better, indeed he is arguably an all-time top 100 fighter.;)

Emile Griffith (middleweight version). He could adopt several different styles, all of them boring.

I sometimes refer to him as Floyd " the Void " because he fills the empty space that has been left due to lack of talent in today's era.
