close fight but I would slightly favor Floyd. As far as Defense is concerned, Whitaker was a much better defensive fighter, but I have Whitaker as the greatest defensive fighter of all time. Floyd's Defense is an A+, Whitaker's an A++++.

though to be fair, i can also see mayweather walking him down as he did zab. whitaker was not quite the wizard he was at 135. mayweather would have a slight advantage in strength and power and his speed is comparable. whitaker has better skills but if he can't keep mayweather honest and if floyd decides to be the aggressor, it could be interesting

bit of a toss up, PW was unhittable at times, but floyd's D is more efficient

i think it comes down to judges

My bad, how could I forget him... it is been a while since last time I went to the classic too.
Whitaker still number one, Pep is second and then Nicolino and Mayweather close behind.

Julio Chavez had strength and power and whitaker (draw was a joke) beat him.

This is a contradiction to the laws of the universe. Mayweather wouldn't fight Whitaker in his prime, only when that one is old, worn, and guaranteed to be shot.
