maybe quite a bit in round 1 and that was it. He didn't do jack **** besides run, swell and bleed. Typical Cotto fight.

Baldomir put on a better performance against Clottey then Cotto did lol. Atleast Baldomir didnt run.

As for you saying Floyd hasnt fought anyone, how does P4P 8 in the world and DLH at Floyds 5th weight class coming off a 6th round KO domination of Mayorga, the same Mayorga who Mosley struggled with 2 years later, equal not fighting anyone?

Floyd Mayweather has great uppercuts. Especially throwing on the inside. Atleast you admit Cotto's chin and defense is shaky. However I'd say he has a decent chin, just a very poor defense, considering even though Judah, Torres and Corley had him doing the chicken dance, he still wasnt KO'd, same with Pac.

How is Clottey a workrate puncher? He barely throws 40 punches a round. Infact I'd say he was less offensive then Mayweather. As for granite chins, Cotto couldnt hit Clottey, the best punch he landed was a jab that caught Clottey off balance during round 1. And if he couldnt hit Clottey, how would he hit Floyd? Clottey stands there with a high guard, Floyd dips and moves all over the place.
Clottey didnt give anything. He didnt have a mark on him after the fight. Cotto couldnt hit ****, even though Clottey was right there. So how would he hit Mayweather who is faster, stronger, smarter, **** basically superior in every category.

Again you dont really believe what your saying. I can tell. Floyd would rip Cotto up, and he has fought plenty of times in the pocket, against Hatton, Baldomir, DLH, and Marquez, with great success. And Floyd is about 10lbs heavier then when he fought Hatton, Baldomir and DLH.

He got his ass kicked by 3 of them and got a close point decision over Mosley, which included once again running.

Floyds victories over Marquez, Hatton and DLH showed me alot more then Cotto's 3 ass whippings.

Hmm. Former Olympian, 3-time world titlist in two weight classes, 14-2 in world title fights, defeated about eleven world champions...Yeah, B-leveler indeed. You have to do twice that just to get an A-. Ask anyone.

thanks to Arum who at the time Floyd called Cotto out said Cotto was too green. It is a known fact that Hatton and Cotto were both sitting ringside at the Floyd/Gotti massacre and afterwards both camps kept Floyd's name out of their mouths. They were having nightmares of possibly having to face that monster at 140. It wasn't until FLoyd moved up that Hatton acted like a tough guy and started speaking Floyd's name.

cotto's camp admitted that they are not ready for a prime floyd back then. but when cotto beat shane and floyd beats hatton, and when the fight matters most and was demanded by everyone, floyd retired while ellerbe said that cotto is not a draw.

PAper titlests and I dont think he ever actually won a world championship that wasnt vacated.

B level. Judah, Torres, Malignaggi, old Mosley, then getting beat up by Margarito, Clottey and Pacquiao does not earn you elite status.

Arum came out and said that he wanted to match up Cotto and Margarito. Floyd had nothing else to prove at the time. Once Pac mans up and locates his nuts to comply with blood testing then maybe Floyd will shut everyone up with a dejavu performance of Floyd/Gotti all over again.

Speed isn't everything. Timing can negate it. How do you think Castillo was so successful?

CAstillo was successful because Floyd had a torn rotator cuff and was 10lbs lighter in his first fight at 135lb, and only 24. Of course you have to ignore the second fight where Floyd was healthy and boxed Castillo's ears off to even make this sort of statement. :-(

Castillo is also a far better inside fighter and pressure fighter then Cotto ever was.
