Now let's apply the same logic you're using. Why did PBF choose to fight Marquez instead of Mosley? Both Marquez and Mosley are from the same promotional company. Why did Floyd choose to fight a smaller fighter and not Mosley? Did mayweather duck mosley? After the PBF vs JMM fight, Mosley called out PBF right after the fight. PBF did not budge at all. That would be a good idea. But before that the fighters would have to agree to contracts. If their name comes up contracts are already decided else you get demands like blood tests every 5 minutes. Then there is the TV rights etc. If they can competitions like the super six in some weight classes that would be good.
