If Mike Tyson was 6' 4" with the same fighting style and body mass proportion would he have been unbeatable?

He would be a completely different fighter I think..

Part of a boxers upbringing is finding themselves, then developing a style which best suits them. What if Ali had shorter more compact arms?

Would it have conquered his inner demons, changed his past, his relationships, or his environment?.....No.

If Mike Tyson was mentally strong he'd probably still be active to this day.

of course he would have been unbeatable probably in his era..... nobodys asking would it conquer his demons, but all else being the same i think he would have gone undefeated until he old and completely washed up inside and out like we saw.

That being said, thats like saying

If Morales had Julion Jackson style power could he be unbeatable? or if Vitali was a lot faster could he be unbeatable, ect, ect.

If you take an already great fighter (vitali was a bad example im just saying, .... tyson, morales, pac, mab, mayweather, hearns, hagler, SRL, Ali, ect, and you give them even more, then ya chances are they go the direction of near unbeatable)

and like what others have said, a fighter finds their style through the amalgam of weakness/strength, like water flowing downhill a smart fighter or trainer will find themselves, and if you 'change' that (themselves) chances are they would develop in a different way.

But purely for theory purposes... yes, a tyson that is 6'4'', everything else is the same (meaning his speed somehow didnt diminish with such large size, ect) then yes i think he would have been unbeatable until he beat himself.

    just imo

Mike tyson got his power from his shoulders/back/thighs

He would have been built differently at 6'4"

He used what he had perfectly.

a trainer once said if you are small fight small , if you are big fight big. That means tyson was great because he used the tools he had to the best of his ablities , whoes to say if he was 6 4 that he would have been less agressive , slower of foot , and easier to hit? Tyson knew how to use his lack of height and size , Dempsey also had this gift.

If Calderon was 9'11, 435 pounds of pure muscle and had a chin sculpted from platinum deep within the Earth do you think he would be unbeatable?

Mike Tyson was unbeatable!!!! Until his time was over

  14. What if what if:huh what if the World were flat instead of round:roll:..

Tyson could have been 8 feet tall and still would have had problems, he had poor stamina, was mentally fragile, and was just a ordinary fighter after 5 or 6 rounds, fought dirty, and was a dumb**** outside the ring..

Either way after 1992 he was past his prime, and only 25-26, didn't have the desire to fight and train hard after 1989...

His size had nothing to do with it, in fact it was one of his best assets, lending his punches extra force, throwing up against bigger opponents.

Extra height would've had him throwing completely different punches, if his arms were in proportion to that kinda' body he'd be more adept at being a jabber in his time, which of course was not Kid Dynamites style.

    Awful, awful post in general.

Next up; If Wlad Klitschko could make Bantam who could reach him?
