Manny's work rate will not be as big of a factor.

I initially thought that Floyd would struggle with Pac's high work rate until I watched the first Erik Morales fight and both Marquez fights today. It was obvious that both fighters limited Pac's effectiveness as well as used his aggression against him. With the exception of Jose Luis Castillo no one has ever really posed a threat to Floyd and no one has ever out boxed him. As much as I dislike Floyd he pretty much always dictates the pace and how the fight is fought.

I don't see Pac being able to outsmart or outwork Floyd. It would be no surprise to me if the fight between them resembled the Morales fight, whereby Floyd wins a unanimous decision by a wide margin.

Floyd's activity is nowhere near the level of Marquez and Morales.
What are you trying to say? This is confusing.

The Pacquiao who fought Morales and Marquez at 130lbs is not the same as the current Pacquiao. He has improved after the 2nd Marquez fight.

If you are talking about the roids, find proof that he did use it. Do not say you think he did coz you are not capable of doing so. Find me facts.

 

If he did, that would be a very interesting fight. The old PBF from 130 will show and that will be a legendary fight.

 

Early on It will matter a lot. Mayweather can be a slow starter like in his bouts with Judah, De La Hoya and Hatton. In all of these bouts he adapted and was the better boxer in the end.

 

In the first Fight with Morales ... Erik made Pac punch himself out in the first 3 rounds. Pac was so tired that he was reaching. In that fight Erik fought a slower pace... Pac took the bait and wound up getting his ass kicked.

Fighters don't change on a fundamental level so don't tell me that Pac is new and improved. Fighters make adjustments to compensate for weaknesses. Eddie Futch always said "never change a fighter". Pac might have improved his defense and right hand but he is essentially the same fighter he was when he lost to Morales.

 

He has improved that much after 50 fights? Eat **** man! He's on something! I have no proof but i'm not blind.

 

Yeah, but his accuracy makes up for it. Why throw 10 poonches and land 3, when you can throw 5 and land 4? He has the reach and speed to make Pacquiao pay for his mistakes.

 

Last time I saw a step up in activity, floyd was fighting at lightweight.
He probably could go all out, but he is very judicious. He doesn't take on the volume punchers in the heavier weights.

If a fighter like jesus chavez was bombing floyd at 147, we'd see some severe damage take place.

That's what guys like Paul Williams/Margarito represent, relentless punching, and at 147, that is a dangerous risk for floyd.

 

Hatton and BAldomir were both big volume punchers. Counter punchers like Mayweather love volume punchers. Just more opportunities to counter. Stop embarrassing youself.
