    His father trained him at The All saints club[ I fought up there a couple of times, they didn't believe in handing out medals or trophies:verysad]. Liam Neeson also boxed for the same club, and won a junior Irish title. But to answer your question Eamonn who is about 39 now as far as I'm aware turned his back on the sport after losing his WBO title. Marty Hamil [1978 former Commonwealth Games amateur lightweight champion] now trains the All Saints club.

    I've had Eamon's channel on YouTube on my favourites for over a year so I am not sure how I missed that being uploaded. I've watched all the interviews he's done etc. Interesting viewing.

    Then you know his great uncle was Rinty Monaghan, and his da is the once fearsome street brawler Coco McAuley. There's many a story that's circulated about Coco, but my favorite is that he KOed Pat Roach[ of Auf Wiedersehen Pet] in a bar in Dublin in the 1970s.

    not sure where eddies on but seemingly the 2 boys ***an/o,hara want the rematch so it probly come down to purses as eddie has nothing to gain from a rematch except a purse but it could happen in march and eddies well up for it as long as the price is right

    Yeah they were still charging my account under the name Setanta Hibernia or something so I had to get on the ball asap and cancel their arses. Waste of time.

    I am reliably informed that Setanta Ireland are getting involved in Irish boxing again...:happy

    no i,m a sweeney my uncle john use to train us in meath st when we were kids late 60s paddy snr used to be there before he joined donore if you read barry mcguigans book you,ll see barry got some advice from my uncle before the pedroza fight

    I only know about the odd fnf card from the states

    also expect bunce in the studio and possibly carruth aswell

    not sure about anything else from germany or the states
