Pac is definitely more marketable now than Floyd, especially if you consider the world wide market.

While the point of boxing is to win the point of professional boxing in PPV, HBO and SHO is to entertain. This is sports entertainment industry - just like basketball, football and etc.

Don't complain if mainstream finds you boring. They don't need a lesson in the intricacies of boxing. They pay $50 to be entertained.

Head to head? Probably. I see him as the favorite over Pac in March 13th. But that is more about styles making fights.

But in recent and overall accomplishments? There is no doubt it is Pac. Every boxing insider has Pac higher as Fighter of the Decade, higher in the current P4P ranking and higher in their ATG list. If Mayweather did not take a near 2 year vacation, and faced Cotto and Margarito or Mosley, he would probably been the Fighter of the Decade and current P4P king. But he did not. And that is the reality.

You can rank him higher based on virtual fights even if he is guaranteed to win it.

    Huh??
I don't like pac or mosley all that much, but they are pretty good.
In fact, I am not a huge Shane Mosley fan, but I do think he is one of the better welterweights right now.

I like a lot of active boxers
    Juanma Lopez
    Cotto
    Paul Williams
    wladamir klitschko
    Hopkins
    Vazquez
    both marquezs
    Chris John
    Clottey
    Berto

I just don't have **** to say about them right now, I want to see them fight though.

Yes he's passing on 40 milion dollars that he can make in one fight, and if he doesn't fight mayweather it's going to take him 4 or five fights to make that kind of money, any sane person would wonder why, of course he can fight other people and make money. But your argument is stupid, he is passing up money. what's so hard to understand, or you slow

Dude...that doesn't matter. Look, I know what you are saying. I am well aware he can make more in one fight then in a few w/o Mayweather. Everyone knows that dumb****. All I said is he still stands to make a ton of money. I never said he'll make as much in one fight, which is all you keep trying to push. Run in circles if you like little boy. Little kids find that fun I hear....

Dude relax, were saying the same thing. the only reason you pass up that kind of money is because you have something to hide or your sacred. Which ever it is i don't care. But yes he is passing up money:lol:

Nonsense. If that was true itd translate to PPV buys. His fights with Hatton and DLH did less the Floyds fights against the two. And he only did marginally better against a more wel known fighter in Cotto then Floyd did with Marquez.
The mainstream doesnt find Mayweather boring. He's appeared on numerous Tv shows and PPV events outside of boxing. The American public enjoys his outthere style. They could care less how he fights in the ring. He the public cared about that, Mosley wouldnt be fighting on BAD and not on PPV. Only Mayweather haters overstate his "boring" ness.

That means nothing. We are talking about perception. Mayweather is still perceived as the better fighter. Boxing "insiders" do no make up even a fraction of the overall boxing public. Most being casual fans who've never seen MAywather bleed, never seen him lose, rarely see him drop rounds ect

I like mayweather in the ring too.
And he is boring, but he is an excellent boxer.
    Like hopkins/johns/klitschko

Have you paid attention to one thing I have said? I appreciate you wanting to put words into my mouth, but I can handle my own thoughts just fine.

Let me lay it out for you in simple english.
I don't like the way Floyd mayweather conducts himself outside the ring, and I don't like his selection for opponents.
    Get it yet?
He is an excellent boxer inside the ring, I have told you idiots that 3000 times.
