Going by that no one would do anything for him.

Mosley is still a top p4p fighter and would do more than most if not all apart from Pacquiao.

If Mosley defeats Berto, I think Floyd beating Mosley would mean a lot.

It would mean he has beaten a top welterweight, something he hasn't done too many times before.

The guy is #3 P4P. A legit WW. A future hall of famer coming off a big win.
It would mean more than fighting Matthew hatton.

i dont see it advancing either floyds or pacs legacy. its a great win but the #1 p4p fighter should be able to beat any past prime fighter in his own weight. it will still legitimize their standing as p4p #1. it is still a tough test.

I think both Pac and Floyd are at that point in alltime rankings that a win over Mosley would only affect them slightly IMO.

This is no knock on Shane...just that these guys are sharing company with some of the true greats of the sport now.

With Pac I only see him moving up a couple of spots...with Floyd maybe a few more because he is a bit lower.

To say it does Jack **** for their legacy is bollocks though. At the very least its a well known name on their resume.

If Mosley wins against Berto that means he will have beaten 2 of top Welterweight champs, he would have unified belts at the weight. A win against him after that would be a great win for Floyd. Plus it would mean beating a fight people claim he has been dodging.

 Way to display your ignorance noob...

First of all, age doesn't matter if you perform at the top level. Anyone with a brain would know that.

Second, so what if he lost to Cotto? It was close and Shane rebounded with a huge win.
