Pac-Mayweather lawsuit, starts off on wrong foot

In defamation suits, one way to defend yourself is by alleging the truth of the statement. This is how Conte defended himself against Mosley's suit. On the other hand, Floyd's lawyers would not make this defense because they know that they have no basis to allege the truth in any of their accusations. Their defense consist of proving that the statements were mere opinions and protected by the constitution instead of statement of facts. But the way Sr. told it in his interviews with his trademark "you can qoute me on this coz i said it," they are going to fioght an uphill battle in court.

There's so much that's been said by GBP and Team Mayweather, I don't think it's really that hard to choose. Either way, I really don't think anything's going to come out of this lawsuit. I'm fairly confident it's just another jab back at Floyd's team to get an apology issued and used as leverage so they can finalize and sign the fight.

If they ****ed up the allegations in the complaint, they can always legally amend it by submitting or filing in court an Amended-Complaint. This is the usual procedure resorted to by lawyers if they want to change any statement in the complaint.

there are rectifiable errors but all in all, I think this case will prosper.

Fixable or not its still a ****up, It shows that they arent doing things the way they should be done. that brief should have been check and rechecked. I dont know about you but whenever I do something offical I dont make mistakes. Its not like posting on a boxing website.
