Even though he was winning the late rounds, Tito looked clueless. Running in those championship rounds is the biggest mistake of DLH's career. It definitely cost him some spots on the ATG hierarchy!
Maybe he had won a few rounds more than Tito but if he does nothing in the rounds why can't a judge score a 10-8 in favour of Tito. Others here have said he won 7 rounds enough to win going into the tenth so assuming scoring was normal thats 88-83 going to the tenth, so if scored 10 - 8 against De La Hoya for doing nothing which is in their right, the score becomes 113 - 112 in favour of Tito so relatively close but not unheard of or illegal, I personally think it should have been a draw.
i had DLH up, but as a pro, he should have known better than to give that many rounds away at the end, knowing that judges cannot be relied upon
