were hopeful of news this week,alex morrison's trying to get backing from glasgow city council to help bring the fight here,if that dont work it looks like rickys got to go over there.eithier way rickys got the skills to win,but to do it in glasgow would be special as we would easily fill a 5 or 6,ooo arena here im sure FW will try is utmost as britan needs another world champ?

My heart sank big time when I read that Alex Morrison is involved, I was hoping Frank warren would be taking care of Ricky for this one, If you are reading Frank Warren, PLEASE step in & make things OK!

yes rob,glasgows's not a little village mate like some people think,theres the SECC or Breahead both would be ideal personally i'd like to see it in the Kelvin Hall more tradition then move onto a bigger arena which burns,simpson and limond would sell out with ease.I just hope we get word very soon,i fully expect frank warren to win the purse bids for the fight hes quoted as saying scotland needs a world champion so im sure he'll back up his own words,ps Alex Morrison is working very hard to try and make this fight happen in Glasgow i just cant see peoples problem.

frank warren works with alex morrison who manages limond,simpson,k.hughes future SBW champion amongst others,we could put on a better show than the talent in Leeds ha ha!

 

I kind of agree with you on this one Mr M, the only big fights in scotland are done by Gilmour, and occassionally Warren. Went to one of Morrisons dinner shows, its like rent a gangster, and toy ones at that, they obviously watch too many godfather movies out that way.
