Face it Guys, Manny doesn't think he can defeat Mayweather!!!

well, if that's the excuse for floyd not fighting every fighters he ducked because they would lose, then you are correct. no one would beat floyd because he is unbeatable in the fantasy world.

 

That statement doesnt say much, you gotta look at the quality of the champs he faught

 

Why was he willing to walk away from 20 mil for a mere 1% purse split against Hatton? Was he scared of Hatton too? Narrowminded.

 

When Floyd was coming up to WW, Judah was unarguably the toughest test for him. Then Judah lost to Baldomir, huge upset. Then Floyd fought and beat both of them anyway. Yes, in hind sight, Judah has flopped but don't blame floyd for that because at the time everyone thought Judah was his hardest challenge. Around that time Floyd offered Cotto a fight, and his camp told the mayweathers that Cotto needed more time before fighting Floyd. Also Floyd moved up to 154 when Oscar was looked at as the #1 at that weightclass also, he also gave up the ring size and gloves, gave Oscar everything he wanted.

 

I to believe that Mayweather would beat Manny, but he does not seem to be as confident as his fans. No matter. I want to see this fight happen, but if it does not then the LAST thing I want to hear is that Floyd is fighting Matthew Hatton!! As a Mayweather fan (Like me) how would such an announcement make you feel? It would only serve to heap more suspicion Floyd's way. I'm also a fan of Pacquiao's and if we are going to use Mayweathers schooling of Marquez as an example of why Manny would not want to fight Floyd then we have to also consider Manny's beating of Ricky Hatton and the job he did on Cotto as examples of why Floyd may be reluctant to face Manny! If $40 million and a shot at true greatness cannot get both fighters in the ring then neither are as great as we fans believe they are!!

 

I suppose like all the other belts, it depends on who is the title holder rather than the title itself. In many cases the WBO champ has been considered the best in the world at that weight. But I agree that in this case the title is not important!

 

Although alot of people thought Judah would be a test, most saw it as 2 boxers fighting and the better boxer will win, Floyd. In fact, a lot of people predicted Floyd by KO. Floyd was coming off a TKO victory over Sharmba Mitchell, another fast southpaw and Floyd was knocking him down with his straight right, people thought he would do the same to Judah, who was specially ktfo with a straight right.

I always give credit to Floyd for signing to fight Judah, people forget he signed to fight him before the Baldomir issues...however he was nowhere near considered by the many to be the toughest challenge at WW despite being the champ. People were calling for Margarito, a much bigger Castillo as they put it, even Cotto's name was being thrown around, Hatton at JWW or even Mosley at WW.

 

manny has a shitload of money brotha.. it's not always all about money. he's earning $$$$$ while doing nothing, he has too many investments and businesses.

 

You can't say Manny is avoiding the fight. All PBF has to do is accept the proposed cut-off date and the fight would be on. If Manny was avoiding the fight then this wouldn't be a very efficient way to do it.

On the flip side, you can't say Floyd is avoiding the fight either. All Manny has to do is agree to the blood tests without restrictions and the fight is on. If Floyd was avoiding the fight then it wouldn't be a very efficient way to do it either.

Bottom line, neither fighter is avoiding the fight. These are negotiations and sometimes in negotiations the 2 parties don't see eye to eye.

You say "Who would lose 40 million $ cause they don't wanna do a blood test?", but on the other hand "Who would lose 40 million $ cause their opponent doesn't wanna do a blood test? Especially if they think they can beat their opponent regardless."

 

I disagree. Judah was seen as a bigger man, with more power and one of the only fighters who could match Floyd in athleticism and speed.
