Who has the most. I was looking up fighters and was shocked by how some guys built up records by starching chumps in one round but then I also saw how how some guys can KO ranked guys or HOF guys in one round. So who has the most.
Lamar Clark has 30 1st round knockouts. This guy fought so many cans its a joke. Check out his record- http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=9367&cat=boxer I think he fights about 20 odd boxers before finally facing someone with a win, its crazy. Guess his promotor had little confidence in him, guess he was right he lost when he faced opponents who could punch back.
I know evreyone's gonna look at Archie Moore (with him having more knockouts than anyone else) but he had 16, less than Edwin Valero believe it or not.
Tyrone Brunson had 18 in a row. He was prooves to be a joke. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=306912&cat=boxer Valero has 17 in a row i think. he has never been the distance and is undefeated.
hmm says . . . ^^Valero was gonna try to break that record (1st round KO streak) by fighting tomato cans... not hating but that just messed up....
I didnt mean in a row i meant in a career i know lamar clkark has the most KO's in a row i dont know if they all ended in round 1. I mean example Briggs had 28 his whole career Tyson had 25
It might surprise you but Paulie Malignaggie actually holds the record for most consecutive 1st round knockouts by an amateur boxer. He knocked his first 17 opponents out in the 1st round. He used to be a devastating puncher as an amateur. However after turning professional, they didn't allow him to fight women and his KO percentage dropped dramatically when he was in the ring with Men. True Story :deal
I remember hearing this Malinaggi style has changed a lot from am's think it was a documentary about Paulie and his life. Has it anything to do with his hands? I don't think i have seen too many Paulie fights were his right hand last more than 5 rounds.
I dont think theres any way to string up a ridiculous amount of first round KO's without fighting many, many tomato cans. history proves it
