Bad analogy:nono Leonard was never kod in his prime, his figh with Duran was very close, and the only reason Duran isnt considered a top welter of all time is because he was only there briefly. In a head to head matchup, any expert will tell you Duran would beat or hold his own with any Other ATG at Welter.
Same cannnot be said about Rahman or Mccall who are light years away from being mentioned in the same breath as other great heavys.

    Manny Pacquiao: 30-35
    Aaron Pryor: 90-100
    Ricardo Lopez: 150-180

Aaron Pryor had a short stay at the top, and his best win was over a past prime, 140lbs Alexis Arguello. He didn't get enough work done to be any higher than 90 in my view.

Ricardo Lopez made a career out of fighting really low level fighters. That's what Minimumweight consists of, and he left it a little late to push himself with a move up in division. Lacking the resume to make a top 100 place.

Manny Pacquiao is very high. He's a got a great resume by contemporary standards but he's not in the top 25 for me. More deserving candidates.

fair postthat I pretty much agree with 100%. I'd have Lopez in the top 100 based on talent and dominance, regardless of how weak straw was doing his reign. If he'd stepped up and beat Carbajal AND Chiquita (a big ask) I'd have him around 70ish. I think anywhere between 80-100 is fair although depending on what mood I'm in he might not make the top 100.

Depends what you rank on really. Regardless he should be nowhere near the top 50 of any p4p list, regardless of talent.

Yeah. I was perhaps being a tad harsh. Anywhere from 100-150 is okay with me.

I agree with you asero in your high ranking of Ricardo Lopez, bottom line he was one of the greatest little guys ever and that deserves a high ranking. In fact i think he probably is the best little guy ever 112 and under. I would think his detractors here would give credibility to that since, they are always talking about how great the little guys were.

I think you totally take that the wrong way anarci..its not about detracting from Ricardo rather giving credit to the guys who were just as good or did just as much. There werent many but to overlook them is just unfair.

I know the history of every single guy on his 200 PFP list, some i know really well but even the ones who i know the least about i am still aware of them as far who they beat and who they lost too. I realize that anyone in the top 100 is a great fighter and even some of the ones below that.
I guess i put a lot of emphasis on HTH matchup and all around ability and i just dont see to many guys above Lopez. Dont get me wrong i put alot into resumes also, but probably not as much as some of you. I cant forget about an all around great talent when comparing them to lesser talents with a better resume.

Exactly. I'm as big an admirer of Ricardo Lopez as ANYONE but I'm also a realist.
