'The Colonel' Bob Sheridan - who else loves his commentating?

I don't really like his commentary to be honest.He's always bias towards Don King fighters nad personal acquantances.He's gotten worse over the years.

He does have that old school way of commentating and has a cool voice.

 

Significantly worse than Lampley yes.

Plus he usually does the commentary alone or atmost with another guy so it's easier to spot than on the 3 man comm team from HBO.

IMO.

 

yes I like The Colonel. He really enjoys his work.

 

Dont like him............. Although he did a great call on ali/foreman and foreman/norton

 

Its like listening to Jabba the Hutt call a fight. His fatness along with his Boston accent makes him unbearable for me.

 

Yeah, but its fake too.......... Col. Bob's intensity is usually bull****......... His gimmick and approach is better suited for Wrestling......... I've heard Col. Bob get all hysterical over nothing.......

Yeah,exactly-Jim Ross from WWE is modeled after Sheridan.

His gimmick is indeed for wrestling.

 

he is p4p solo commentator!!!!

his version of tyson v bruno 2 was extra-ordinory!!

 

i like him....takes a special talent to talk through an entire telecast solo....but hes def fun to listen to once in a while....
