I enjoy him, too bad he doesn't broadcast much in the US.

 

He's horrid and a King bootlicker.He can't a job in the big markets at all.Pathetic excuse for an announcer,the fat ****.

 

Yeah outside of my fav combo of LAMPLEY < MERCHANT> AND FOREMAN. he definately up there. Tyson-Bruno 2 comes to mind talking about Bruno's stance will only make him get harder. And the Tyson-Both fight talking about the mark of a shot fighter before Botha's neck got snapped, He was right though Tyson was shot at that point.

I like Lampley, Joe Tessitore, and Steve Albert. Lampley is the best by far

 

I have always enjoyed the Col., however, he is a Don King man.

 

I enjoy listening to "The Colonel" and always have done!!

 

I think he's the in-house blow by blow announcer guy for all Don King promotion fights in the international market.

He's almost always the play by play guy during big time boxing matches shown in the Philippines ever since I can remember.

He, or maybe Dave Bontempo.

I've only regularly seen the HBO team commentary (Lampley and Merchant) starting the early 2000s or something.

Col. Bob IS the voice of boxing since I was a younger guy.

 

He can be a better alternative when the hbo team are particularly ****, e.g. Hopkins vs Trinidad.

 

I've noticed that quite a lot of yanks think that, but it was'nt the case in the Chavez/Taylor 1 fight at the Hilton, anything but, all yer got was "Another round for Taylor" "Another Round for Taylor" after about round 7 or so it was "On my card Julio Cesar Chavez needs a Knockout to win this fight"

I like him because he's enthusiastic & put's our boring monotone yes-men commentators to shame but i agree there are better yank yappers who are league's above but give me yank commentators good or bad anyday, eh correction, kellerman can **** off as he's just a useless chancer:deal
