Easy win for Enzo in my opinion but a massive step backwards.

Good fight one I've called for for a while.

Hopefully they can do it in Swansea too, cant remember Enzo ever fighting there.

How bad must it be for Enzo, going from fighting for the unified title against David Haye to begging for a British title shot.

Enzo would lose to both by another embarrassing finish.

yeh from fighting infront of 20k in the 02.

I heard the Enzo made only just over 100k for the Haye fight as he wanted the fight so bad and Haye demanded a huge purse as he new Warren was obligated to fill his 02 date with a mega fight. Maybe he is not in a strong position financially which is why he wants to carry on.

Didn't Haye get 900k? If Enzo only got 100k then that is really bad.

Anyway, I think that Enzo would have an easier time with Dolan than Norton, even though I believe Dolan will win against Norton.

Warren had done a deal for Calzaghe vs Clinton Woods at the 02 on the March date. That fight fell through when Calzaghe refused the fight as he only wanted Hopkins who wouldnt come to the UK.

Khan wasnt ready for a World Title and there was no other big fight that could be made. Adam Booth new this so Haye demanded a large fee. Asked for 1mil and got close to 900k. Think the combined purse was 1mil!!!

Notice Warren hasnt been back at the 02 since as he hasnt come to them with a fight they would aprove other than Khan Kotelnik which got put back.

I'm pretty sure Enzo got his career high payday. Setanta put a big chunk of money into the pot, and Five Live contributed too.

I know Haye got near £1m, and Enzo less as he only held one belt, but I thought it was near £500,000. Plus he made good money against Briaithwaite, apparently.

FiveLive pay about £10 to cover a fight lol

Enzo wanted the fight so bad he took his contract minimum for a world title fight. Same as what he go for the Calzaghe vs Kessler undercard. He was thinking win this and he is up there with Hatton/Calzaghe and where Haye is right now making £5mil. The gamble didnt pay off.

This is an easy stepping stone to fight the winner...A slow crawl back up to get confidence...but if that is all it will achieve, I am not convinced it will be enough...only Enzo will really know what his aspirations and realism are...:yep

That's interesting. I still don't see why anyone thought Enzo would win considering how Haye handled Mormeck, a much tougher fight stylistically for Haye.

Enzo was very very silly. I guess that's why Warren took no options, figuring Haye was dead at the weight and that Enzo was so confident.

I think Enzo had convinced himself that he was genuinely no 1 at CW and when Haye beat Mormeck he seemed to become bitter at Hayes plaudits.

I hope he comesback to a decent level, but he's not true world class imo, and may struggle against genuine top 15 fighters.
