Clearly he's not perfect but he is class towards his opponents and has always shown respect. He gives plenty back to his people and is an overall great ambassador for the sport. Only a hater would say otherwise.

Pac issues a statement of condolences to Cotto for the loss of his father, and people's reaction is bash him for cheating on his wife.

Well that statement, toward the Cotto family, IS ALL CLASS.

It's what it is. It's not right for a man to cheat on his wife, but as a man I understand. Women are men's achllies heal....for the most part. But what Manny said about Cotto's loss is class....you gotta give that to him. PAC at the end of the day is still a man and no man is perfect.

I agree with that. But most men have demons in their closet whether they care to admit to it or not. PAC is a man and has made mistakes. But he's also done a lot of good for people who are less fortunate than himself. What was done is done......a sin is a sin. They SAY...no sin is any worse than the other however I disagree. Lieing or cheating is not the same as murdering or hurting someone else physically for no good reason.

And?? Jordan, Kobe, Floyd Mayweater, Martin Luther king Jr.....they've cheated on their wives, had gambling problmes or beat their wives in the past or all of the above. Manny is a good role model but he's a man and he's human. There is NO ONE who is perfect but there are those who make an effort to better the lives of others who are not as fortunate as they are. PAC does that and he is always very modest, humble and looking to do the right thing. That is class and that deserves respect.

 

Well said Charlievint, well said! There have been plenty of good moral men that have fallen to the weakness of the flesh. This flaw shouldn't take away the sinscierity of the statement made by Pac.

Does anyone actually think that when Cotto read that statement, he wasn't touched, and dismissed as garbage from an unfaithful man? :-(

 

PAC showed Class as he normally does. Someone being all Class is not common b/c for someone to be all class that would mean they were perfect and even Mother THeresa isn't perfect...or wasn't.
