HELL NO!!! Marquez was a fat old man that night LMAO... He was sluggish, slow and his punches couldn't hurt Floyd even if it lands at that weight class

anybody who is 2 Weight divisions above him will make him look simple, and possibly KO him, Mosley would had KO'd him, Cotto would had KO'd him, but dont get me wrong May is a Masterful Boxer, thats why i want dude to fight the best in HIS DIVISION, or higher.

Well Mayweather beat Marquez easier then Pacquaio.

Even if it was not at Marquez' appropriate weight, ODH was not in his appropriate weight class when he fought Pacquaio.

JMM clearly doesnt belong at welter, the other top welters (COtto,Mosley) would've knocked JMM out with ease.

Please, I'm just promoting the next fight, no way am I huge Floyd fan. I can just take off the hate glasses and admit that he has done some incredible things in there. He's made fights against warriors look easy (Marquez/Corrales). If he beats Pac then beats the winner between Mosley/Berto, it will be hard to argue against him.

Yeah, just as soon as he outweighed him and had an advantage in every category.
    Reach
    Speed
    Height
    Weight
    Age

Floyd sure proved his skills in that fight.

Yes, his corrales win and his 2nd fight with castillo were really good.

    So what?
2 fights don't make a career, you need a ton more than that.

    LOL the autocomplete is mad!

I think you can't take away what floyd has acheived over the years, his fight against Marquez dosn't amount to a great deal but it was coming off a 2 year voluntary absence. He still looked sharp and complete. He did fight at a weight were Marquez wasn't comfortable and even came in overweight so as far as the result goes its meaningless but the display impressive.

    Hatton beat collazo at 147.

Floyd fought a much younger and healthy dela hoya than pac did.

Marquez getting long in the tooth is a nice excuse. Fact was he was coming off some impressive wins over Diaz and Cassamayor at the time at 135. And attempted to take on the prior p4p number 1 at WW but failed.

There are no easy fights when your p4p in the top 3.

JMM was a blown up Lightweight fighting at 147. Corrales was seriously, SERIOUSLY, weight drained. Good wins, but don't pretend they are worth more than they actually are.

a 1st round KO over Nonito would be worthless, Nonito would have done Nothing in 130, would be worth as much as KOing a bum

I can readily admit Floyd Mayweather Jr. has the potential to be in the top 10 of all time. He has the skills. Now if he doesn't take the fights, it will always be a what if.
