I thought we dont do speculation:lol:

Isn't that the same as mayweather saying he could beat Williams, Cotto and Margarito without actually proving it.:rofl:rofl

    The double standards.

Here is a simple question for you guys.

    Which fights made Ali great?
Now who is the most technically skilled boxer Ali faced?

Do you think those match up?

How do u think a prime PBF at 135 would fare against JMM at his best at 135?

I agree with this completely. It showed that Floyd is still the best at welterweight. Floyd's best wins were years ago. I would believe that Floyd's win over Corrales is the most impressive win he has had.

    No
But the way he did it made me think he will have no problem with Pac.

Hatton got the decision against Collazo, to say he "beat him" is a big stretch of the imagination, given that Hatton was out on his feet when the bell rang. I scored it for Collazo, as did many.

Mayweather wasn't a former flyweight. Manny was. It was the same version of DLH, Mayweather got a SD, and Pac retired him.

Do you not understand the difference between a Lightweight and a Welterweight, what has JMM done at WW that makes it such a legacy enhacing win for Mayweather?

Fact is, JMM has done NOTHING at WW expect lose to Mayweather. Beating Casa and Diaz at LW doesn't make you a credible Welter. Hamed was P4P elite, and a great Featherweight, does that mean he'd beat Chavez at 140? :patsch No.

So JMM being P4P elite and a great Lightweight doesn't mean he is any good at WW either.

Corrales wasn't weight drained for that fight. He's was very comfortable there at that time. He was emotion drained. He knew he'd be heading to prison soon. Mayweather still looked good though and took away Corrales's undefeated record. Also, why discredit Marquez, Pacquiao has gone up to the same weight and done very well.

That's a fight I would have love to have seen.
I would still bet on floyd, but it would probably be competitive.

Since when beating a lightweight makes u the best welterweight? , I thought that to be the best u have to fight the best and beat em, i guess it doesnt apply to Floyd mayweather,

So manny fought the same version of dela hoya?

you doubt, Mosley would have KO'd Marquez at 147? :rofl
in that case we have no idea if Ray Leonard would be able to beat Kostya Tszyu:nut

The reason why May didn't KO Marquez was due to May's style

I don't think it works that way!

IF that was the case then we would think that JMM would have easily beaten Hatton, DLH and Cotto since the great majority are of the opinion that JMM defeated Pac!

Then he's not P4P because that's exactly what P4P means.

I remember watching Marquez pop those speed bags and thinking if he got a good right hand in on Mayweather, that he was going to do some damage. I was surprised he was never able to really get a clean punch landed.
