You must be joking. A blind man could see Corrales was weight drained.

That's not to say it wasn't a very good win for FMJ. And frankly, he would have beat Corrales at any weight.

But to suggest Corrales wasn't weight drained, is to be ignorant of the facts, IMO.

Not discrediting JMM, if he stays at WW and achives something there, FMJ's win over him will loook decent. As things stand he's done nothing at the weight, so therefore the win doesn't mean much.

    What?
    No it ****ing doesn't.

That's like saying heavyweights can't be p4p because they don't go down to LHW.

i said No becuase he was suppose to ko JMM, that was the only way i was going to give him any real credit for that fight.he either could not ko him or did not want to take the nesscary chances to ko him.so for that it did little to knowing for me.and thats coming from one of the biggest mayweather fans out there !

Sorry but you're wrong on this one. Corrales had just KOd Manfredy at 130 and then fought Casamayor twice at that weight. it was around that time when he had to drain to make weight. he was comfortable there at the time he fought Mayweather though. His problems with that fight were his legal issues.

What you've wrote in this thread so far, seriously calls into question you're ability to score a boxing match. So this point is irrelevant, in so many ways.

Can you answer the question I asked, what has JMM done at WW that makes FMJ's 'UD12' over him, such a legacy enhancing win?

I agree! It was the dominating manner of his victory that must be considered! And I believe that it was an outstanding performance against a top 5 p4p fighter, following a year away from boxing!!

    "seriously, SERIOUSLY"

It was a masterpiece, Corrales stayed at the weight after and had success. That excuse never gets old, he had a multi-fight HBO contract, bad blood with Floyd and the lineal title on the line, if you can't train properly for that then I don't know.

I am starting to think none of you know what pound for pound means.
Seriously... it has nothing to do with switching weight classes.
It is about how good you are in relation to other fighters at other weights.

Exactly. Lets Go further with this logic. I think we can agree that Pavlik would ko Mayweather if they met at the middleweight , ****, why is pavlik not the nr 1 p4p fighter? :?
