There was plenty of articles on this coming out right before the fight. Don't know why people try to deny it.

    :deal

Asking a lightweight to go up 2 weight classes to face him and not making the contracted weight is not going to enhance anyone's legacy.

An even funnier auto complete is to google just "Mayweather is"
    and leave out "the"

It did a little, but he made it look so easy that It took away from the win.

Manny and Mayweather both beat an old, inactive and shot version of DLH. Add 'weight drained' to the list for the Manny fight.

Difference is, Mayweather didn't start his career at Flyweight and make DLH quit.

Manny put in a MUCH better performance, against a slightly shitter version of DLH.

And both would have lost to DLH in his prime, btw.

a prime Corrales was drained at 130 when he was a champ at 130 (not to mention his 2 other fights with Casa in 03 and 04):huh

now De La Hoya, was the same when he faced Floyd and Pac, but DHL had not fought at 147 for nearly 8 years, and was not champ at 147 but he was not drained:huh

i don't know but that seems pretty stupid :nut

So every fighter who calls floyd out deserves a shot?

I don't think that logic flies.

Ok, so Corrales was weight drained AND mentally disturbed. That makes Mayweather's 'w' all the more impressive.

Mayweather's win over Corrales was better than Pacquaio's over DLH.

Both Corrales and DLH were obviously drained, but Corrales was in his prime and DLH was a decade past his.

Both performances were perfect and masterful though.

This thread is seriously like asking if Oscar De La Hoya beating an old JCC enhanced his legacy.
