    Its nothing like that

Marquez is no Chavez, and at least Chavez had done something in or around 147.

    Yes it is.

Is a young guy beating an older guy in a higher weight class than he normally fights impressive?
No... no one gives a ****.

Im sure it did and will do to some. There are those who will boxrec Floyds record and see JMM's name in there, a HOF'r and it will add to his legacy. Some though will question what JMM did at 147lb...nada...fine, what did he do at 140lb...nada... and at most he was a good LW who struggled with a past it Casa and limited Juan Diaz.

Chavez is a legend, JMM is just a very good fighter. And Chavez was acclimatised to the weight, JMM was not.

Can anyone explain to me if PAC-JMM3 happens, is he "picking" on a lightweight? Why would Floyd be blasted for this fight but when the supposedly p4p #1 champ wants to get this fight, it's a great fight? Anyone?

Regardless of weight JMM is a bloody good fighter,so going off the OP yes it does enhance his legacy as beating JMM is more of a credible opponent than someone like Hatton was.

    Not even close!:patsch

DLH over Chavez is closer to asking if Pac beating DLH enhanced his legacy.

No one gave a **** when he beat Chavez, because he was past his prime at light welterweight.
