When Mosley gets past Berto which I know he will then he should try to fight the winner of Pac/Mayweather. I doubt they would want to fight him, so he should try and fight Pavlik for a belt in another division. Delahoya got a belt at middle weight but it never counted because he really didn't win the fight. I think Mosley vs Pavlik would be a hell of a fight. I know people will say Mosley is to small but he's fast and got an iron chin. I like his chances of a UD.:bbb

I like Mosley's chances of KOing Pavlik cause Pavlik is not a skilled boxer! KP is a good 1-1-2 fighter who will only throw an uppercut against low level competition like Espino! SSM speed would give Pavlik major problems!

The problem with Pavlik is that he is extremely slow and predictable, any fighter who moves a lot will give Pavlik problems! If Pavlik was to catch SSM flush then he could do damage but SSM is too quick and skilled to get caught flush! KP had a hard time catching Bhop who is old and slow so you know SSM is gonna run rings around him!

I think it is a pretty huge step to suggest that Mosley speed can in anyway overcome the fact that he isnt the hardest man in the sport to hit.

Yeah he has an absolute granite beard - but Pavlik is not a small middleweight.

Shane looked straight up average at 154 against jnr middleweights..Id expect him to look even worse at middleweight against a very big one.

I cant see Shane winning this...Even with Pavlik being has limited as he is, he is still a good fighter and a hard punching physical monster at 160.

    agreed -

Pavlik isnt the most talented guy in the world but surely he has got to be big enough and strong enough.

Interesting matchup, I think its a toss-up, but would favor Pavlik slightly.

I'd go with Shane, it would be a much more painful loss for pavlick than what the executioner did to him. and just as one-sided. Think about it... How could pavlick win a decision??? his only chance would be to land one big bomb and I don't see him being able to.

The fact that Nazim would work Shane's corner with all the knowledge of the Hopkins fight would give them a nice edge - where as Pavlik got the size.

Mosley had problems with the size and power of Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright. Kelly is even bigger and stronger. Pavlik would be the first to KO Shane but would not get much credit for beating a blown up welterweight.

Besides, after he beats the the hyped up Paul Williams, Kelly will likely go to 168 to fight Abraham, Bute, Ward, Froch and those guys.

always go with speed, but will ssm's carry @ 160. When I first thought about I thougt kp no problem, but as is ssm's skills are not enough, he also has nazim richardsson who will tell mosley how to beat him lik b-hop did. I really think richardson would play the deciding role in this.

Bingo. If Nazim/Mosley thought they could win this fight they would be knocking on Pavlik's door. They aren't. End of.
