The great majority? Nah....:verysad Close fight.....split literally down the middle on who they thought won the rematch...even the first fight. But at teh end of the day PAC got the "W" which is much deserved considering he did the majority of the damage and he was able to put JMM on the canvas 4 times.....5 times if you count the KD that the ref didn't catch.

Are you talking about the punch Pac used to hit JMM when he was down?

I suppose Pac was lucky the ref didn't catch that!

Crack is a hell of a drug! Yo.....I've yet to see JMM beat Manny at any weight. Twice? You must be getting your signals crossed b/c Manny is suppose to be 2-0 vs JMM. Had not been for the mistake by one of the judges in the fist fight....that gift Draw for JMM would have been a "W" for Manny. 2-0 Manny vs JMM:smoke

 No....Not talking about that but JMM was lucky PAC held that shot PAC otherwsie he wouldn't have gotten up.....Actually.....getting a "W" by way of DQ wouldn't be that Bad for JMM...at least that way he would have gotten a "W" over manny instead of a bogus Draw and a loss.

Very few people predicted the level of dominance that Floyd displayed, coming off of a nearly two year layoff. It was a masterclass. Yes, this does enhance his legacy. I'm not sure how beating a top flighter pound for pounder within two weight classes of you wouldn't at least help a legacy, particularly the way Floyd did it.

It won't do as much as beating Pacquiao will, but it was a good win.

It's a good win for Mayweather given the way he did it but it doesn't really enhance his legacy. He's not moving up any slots on the ATG scale because of it. Yes he looked dynamite but even Floyd fans need to admit it was nothing more than a glorified tune-up.

In the second fight JMM did more damage while landing more punches. Pacquiaos eye was almost hanging out its socket. Although I scored it for manny based on the knockdown, JMM won more rounds and did more damage.

You just said yourself that he didn't train well for his fight agaisnt Floyd. Thats exactly why Corrales was so drained and weighed-in at 132 on the first shot. The guy didn't even train properly. His focus for the fight wasn't there and he didn't manage his weight properly at all. The fact that he was able to make 130 easily several times later in his career shows that against Floyd he wasn't training well and therefore had to drain to make the weight.

You have a guy whose planning on fighting at 135, he's facing a divorce, he's facing jail time, and he's breaking from his manager. then he comes in at the weigh-in 2 pounds above the limit and has to spend an hour and a half in a sauna to make weight.

Dude, he was drained. Not only drained but he was completely listless.

You think the Corrales who fought Floyd was in the same shape as the one who came back two years later and became the champ at 130, making weight on the first try several times. no way.

I predicted Floyd dominating JMM with ease. For me it was a no brainer. The only thing for me was I predicted Floyd getting the KO....which he didn't but it was still a very dominating performance which I knew it would be. The win was more of "window dressing" for his legacy. The win was a given b/c of the factors surrounding the fight. JMM was older, smaller, slower and less powerful. He was moving up 2 weight classes to meet a fighter younger, faster, stronger, bigger and in his prime. JMM was past his best and on the slide. It was a decent win but the "NAME" is what made the fight and teh "W" legacy worthy.

That win would have had just as much legitimacy as Manny's win:good
