I'm surprised Garth Wood won, coming from a League background.

The guy has been boxing professionally for a couple of years, yet he beat the more experienced oganov of 12 or so years..

I would have hoped that common sense prevailed and Oganov would win.

Apparently alot happened in the match that was not seen on TV.

Good luck to Garth tho, this is his lucky break & hopefully he can capitalize.

I think it's a case of Oganov really slipping in form over last 2yrs.

I remember a few years back he was KO'ing people left right and centre. The 3 contender fights he was slow as a wet weeend.

Props to Woods, i think he showed improvement during the series. Might not be enough to beat Kariuz but u never know.

I was surprised, good on Garth for taking it to Victor.
Garth looked to be out on his feet for rounds 3-5 though... Victor either never had it or is a shadow of his former self.

Congrats to Garth - I grew up with him when we were kids and its good to see him making the most of his opportunity.

It was a very messy fight though

    Oganov never ever had it.

The fact that people know about him is only due to him bashing real nobodies and being in the same devision as Mundine and Green and calling them out a couple of times. Thats it.

Sure he had some power and some good success against very ordinary guys but he is not in the same league as the good guys.

How much class did Clenshaw show, compared to Oganov.
I couldn't believe Oganovs reaction. He should kiss the judges arses for even being there in the first place. Junior Talipeau boxed him stupid, and then he was too gutless to vote him back for a second chance.
    Pfffftt!

Exactly. People need to look past records and actually look at who a fighter has actually beaten. What is Oganov's best win exactly ? :think

Mate thats how us ozzie mt druittains roll...

We might be seen as whitetrash but probably have more class when it comes to certain things then others...Such as excepting defeat..

Im from same surroundings as Josh(though he abit older then me) so was pretty wrapped seeing him go good..If only he took training more serious. Who knows where he could of went...Tough as nails.
