According to George Peterson All PW would have to do with Pavlik is "step to him and knock him out, because Pavlik's chin is grade "A" china." According to Paul Williams he did not need a fight plan or strategy against Pavlik. He would just do what he always does, and knock Pavlik out. Where are they now?

 

They are so damned quiet. I wish Pavlik had not had the hand injury, but that is probably the reason Williams was going to fight him back then. Williams is a legend within his own mind. If Williams watched the fight on tape, I can understand why he is in hiding. Martinez made him look really bad, like the fraud he really is.

the only guy who could trade with pavlik at 160 is gone, and peewee williams isnt gonna be succesfull against pavlik.

martinez had him hurt a couple of times, while peewee´s punches didnt have the same effect on martinez. NOT something which raises peewee´s chances.

if they fight, i´m laying a bet on pavlik to knock him out.

the wise choice for williams would be, to try to and unify at 154 and then he might be more physical suited, to take a step up in weight against pavlik. Right now he is far from ready.

Paul Williams drew close to 3,000 in Atlantic City... And most of the fans there were Williams fans from DC, Jersey, and NYC.


Pavlik drew a little over 3,000 in Youngstown, Ohio (his hometown)...

If your talking about Pavlik then the conversation is usually about his medical history, the business of boxing or the fact that he fights bums!:-(

If your talking about Williams the convesation is usually about a fight he just had and how exciting it was!:happy

It's funny how people can try to call Williams out for having a tough fight at 160...


After going back and forth in negotiations with the 160 champ... And then he gets accused of ducking the 160 champ because he is trying to give the other tough fighter a rematch? Have you guys forgotten that he is actually a 147 lb. fighter????


And pav fans are gloating because pav finally has the nuts to want to fight Williams (the 147 lber.) after he finally saw him get hurt for the first time in his career??? Can someone tell me what's wrong with this picture????
