Then why is Ricardo Lopez in your top 30??? Mainly due to your gross overrating of Alvarez it seems mate:huh

Yey in my rough draft a few months ago i had Walcott in my lower teens or 20ish, Walker around the same and like i said Lanford 5. If those guys are rated so high why not Manny? This guy has surprised me throughout his career. Even when he beat ledwaba i was thinking hows this kid just gonna jump from Fly after getting kod and be a solid champ like Ledwaba then he blows him out. Same with Barrera i though Barrera was gonna smoke him. I was a believer after that but even then i wasnt sure and thought Barrera must have been out of it. When Morales beat him i was like yeah i knew a boxer could beat him. Then he goes on too ko Morales in the rematch and rubber match..

Although i thought he lost the 2nd fight to Marquez, the first one was called right i didnt have too much of a problem with the draw.

Then beating Oscar blew me away but in the end i made excuses for Oscar Rightfully so) but still a great win for Manny
Then when he fights Hatton im thinking Manny would win but i thought it was gonna be a tough fight for Manny i picked him by a gruellin 10 roud Tko., Only to surprise me again by literally Raping Hatton.
The Cotto fight went pretty much as i expected but i was still impressed again.
Now when He fights Floyd im thinking Floyd will outbox him. But im about 60/40 on that one. I should learn my lesson on doubting Manny. If Manny can beat Floyd he automaticaly gets a top 10 ranking atg ranking.

I wouldn't necessarily argue with any of that (bar the top 10 ranking; we'll have to see though it may be achievable) but I was just pulling you up as you singled Manny out as if he was the only one to do it. No worries:good

Also: 'literally raping Hatton' not only a distasteful choice of words but.....well, he didn't LITERALLY **** HIM DID HE???!?!?

I reckon Manny would be somewhere between 10 and 16 if he beat Mayweather.

Same here. IF. I think he will beat him. Everyones going on about how abd Floyd is for Manny stylistically, but I can't see Floyd using that shoulder roll against the influx of punches he will be receiving.

Coupled with his low punch output, the fact he won't be the fastest in this fight, nor the strongest..........I think Manny is AS bad for Floyd.

    WAR PAC!

A few places behind. I don't have Floyd in the top 40. Leonard was a superior fighter at that time. Plus Duran's resume has even more depth than Manny.

I can kind of actually dig that...because I dont mind people that have Duran 10-15 and if Pac beats Floyd comprehensively then I wont have a problem with someone that has him in the same range.

For me though Id still have a good 10 or so spots between them. Some very good company they are with though, the best of the best of the best.

there is no below 118 champion that is ever to be rated at 130 above.. And pacquiao was even the p4p king for the last 2 years.. that feat is unprecedented. If it is easy, then a former 118 champ who have been rated 130 above

HOW DID THEY BEAT THEM:deal Also it wasnt his fault there wasnt great fighters that he fought, Carbajals promoter wanted no part of Lopez or his promoter Don King. Gonzalez either. Lopez was too high risk and not high enough reward.. Lopez was not known as either of those guys but im positive he would have beat them. That guy Sorjaturong who kod chiquita. What happened when he fought Lopez? Well Lopez walked right thru him and kod him in 2 round. He beat Grigsby somewhat easy, a guy who fight Carbajal to a razor close decision loss. Just examples i know you cant always go by that.
Alvarez was very tough and had a great chin good power and was aggressive with decent skills. he was dominating everyone too so that was a good win and no shame in getting the draw. Also he made like 24 title defenses in All! Come on i dont care if he fought his grandma that many times she had to have gotten lucky once(Pazienza quote:D) Na but serious some of those guys were champs. He went undeafeated and in my eyes was a perfect fighter and at the end was rated very highly on the pFP list of every magazine after being overlooked for so many years. Also no one under 108 would have beat him. Sorry I aint buying Jung Koo Chang all you guys on this forum got on that bandwagon, but most experts elsewhere would agree that Lopez was the better fighter. There might have been a couple guys at 112 who would have beat him but he was even a tiny straweight frame wise. His team said if they had a 99lb or 100 lb weight class they would have fought there too. Hes the best guy 112 and under in my opinion. Including Jimmy Wilde!

Not disputing this. Just saying I require all three credentials to be matched for a fighter to attain such a lofty ranking:good

LINED: As you would see on Wikipedia: Citation needed :deal

Also, Lopez was 5'5 and obviously had the frame to move up.
