Shane could lose a boring UD by staying on his bicycle and running for his life for 12 rounds. Engaging Pavlik at any point would end Shane's ability to speak in complete sentences.
I dont think Shanes Power would take him to 160 , he would also need to pack muscle on which would slow him down , we also have to remember Shane isnt that young anymore . This would be a painful night and leave him without many options , i say stay where the money is (147) and keep winning .
i like ssm...i've been a fan of his for a long time. and for that reason it would pain me to see him in this fight. naz is an amazing strategist, but he can only do so much. mosely is not super hard to find so he can't stay on the outside in pavlik's range. he also is too short and isnt strong enough to throw two punches and then tie kelly up ala the margo fight. kelly would either throw him off and smack him or just start landing uppercuts seeing how mosely isnt that tall.

I've noticed how alot of the Pavlik fans are talking about Pavliks uppercut (all of a sudden) as some sort of weapon that is in his arsenal but to tell you the truth i've seen many KP fights over and over but the only time he was consistent with the uppercut was against Espino(D level)! Not to burst anyones bubble but KP is straight 1-1-2 and only used the uppercut against Espino cause he wasn't good!
i guess cleaning out the division and fighting anyone in his way to become the champion he did that by being a "1-1-2 fighter" as you call it? You just love to hate, its in every post you write.
mosely will do everything he can to throw a couple power shots and jump in and tie pav up like he did to margo early on. how tall is mosely?? that and the fact that mosely won't be strong enough to just tie up and hold on will mean he will be vulnerable to an uppercut from a guy as tall as pav.
Too big a jump up this late in his career, IMO. Had it been 2/3 years ago then maybe, Right now.... WW or maybe a last 154lbs fight..

I think again people are underestimating someone based on one loss. Ya gotta favor Pavlik but I can't count Mosely out of ANY fight.
Im no Pavlik fan but he is too big, too powerful, and hits to hard. Mosley would have to outpoint him and i dont think he would have the legs to keep Pavlik off him, or even have the power to hurt Kelly. If they did fight i could see a Pavlik win inside 8.
This thread is an insult to Mosley. A great fighter like Mosley would never lose to that one-dimensional bum. Pavlik gets beaten by anybody above Bantamweight.
