Henry 'splash it all over' Cooper was a very good fighter at British and European level. That does n't warrant entry to the Hall of Fame. He did n't beat one top class fighter. Okay a case can be made for Zora Foley, but he was borderline in my opinion.

he is like pacquiao, do you think guys like mayol, sonsona, jaro, suico, jaca and many more would get title shot and continue to work hard in training if it wasn't for manny..

**** NO, did he ever realistically make it to top5 in the world with the likes of Patterson, Liston, Ali, Johansen, Tyrell, Williams, Chuvalo, Machen, Folley??? Everytime he stepped in against a top10 opponent he was dominated and stopped

Many Brits should be ahead of him on the induction list

:patsch Galaxy is very deserving in my opinion and PFP is better than quite a few that are already in, he was a dominating champ and on top for quite a while. He walked right thru most of his opposition. Made 19 title defenses. The Thai Tyson was the greatest JB ever along with Tapia.

I agree with Mcguigan being the last guy on the list of IBHOF members. I think no one below him should be let in.

Henry Cooper :patsch Are you Fu*king Serious:huh Take a look at his record and who he beat and loss to and you will get your answer.

If Mcguigan is in then Quartey should be in. As for John well hes kind of borderline right now i wanna see one more win against a top fighter again.

We arent talking about Manny or filipino fighters because they are obviously a different situation.

For the most part thai fighters still fight almost exclusively out of thailand. Thai boxers still get criminally underrated and overlooked by western boxing media and promoters. Thai fighters still sit on their rankings for months or years at a time before they get a shot.

Thailand would still be producing talent because of their national sport, where a great number of their pro boxers start out.

I ask again what profound effect has the inclusion of Galaxy in the HOF had for pro boxers in Thailand?

YES. There were lot of phillipinos that were champs and contenders who got shots long before Manny. You should know that already.:bart

what chavez is to mexico. Galaxy is as popular as thailand's first olympic gold medalist. I've seen billboards of them together in 1997.

like when penalosa still has to fight 35 fights before getting a title shot. Or luisito espinosa having to depend on a japanese manager and wear the colors of japan.

Again anarci he wasnt even undisputedly the best around at the time he fought. He held on to his piece of the title and mostly defended it in Thailand, and DID NOT fight the best available opposition.

The reasons why he didnt fight these guys is irrelevant...the fact is he never fought them.

Why does he deserve a spot when guys like Konadu, Roman, Rojas, Watanbe were doing pretty much the same thing at the same time just with a different belt?

Lopez I can handle to a point. At least he looks like one of the best fighters ever on film. I wouldnt even say Galaxy looked better on film then any of those guys I said before....Id even say he isnt even the better Galaxy in a lot of areas.

There absolutely no defending Galaxy's inclusion at the expense of more accomplished and straight up better fighters.
