vitali is declining, but he is proud and will fight haye before he retires. haye will outbox him with his speed, maybe 18 month down the line after some solid defences he'll be ready for wlad

Your initial statement implies that Haye does not want to fight a Klit.

For anyone that knows what David is about this is crap!

Do you want me to give you a three-hundred page list of every fighter who has announced retirement only to unretire a few months later? Not that I would. But we both know it's out there. :D

    Will,

Read it again. It does not. It implies that he makes good business decisions and that he will only take the fight on his terms, which pretty much guarantees that it will n e v e r h a p p e n!

ok then, lets assume calzaghe is next for haye, the guy announces retirement ergo iit must be bull.

valuev is a hugely intelligent man, when he says it's over, it's over.

Partly true. First off, Don King is primarily a European promoter or Heavyweights at this point in his career. Second, American TV is only interested in him if his name is attached to a Klitschko, at this point.

No offense, but you really don't know your ****. :D

    what he said^^^

They had interest in one fight, with a klit who are both consistant draws in the states.. I doubt his next fight will be shown here

Guy brings up good points. He is not dead wrong. I think the fight will happen eventually but Haye like the guy points out does not need it the Klitschkos do. I am a big Klitschko fan but I can see how Haye would not want or need the fight. The guy is right about Haye and bering successful with money and building a fan base. The man has so many options fans would love to see him in with anybody.

He can fight Chugaev Boystov Meehan Povetkin Chambers Areolla Peter Adamek and even British guys like Sexton and Fury. He will pack houses in Britain like Calzaghe and Hatton even if fighting the most meager of opponents.

If the Klitschkos fight most of the guys above they would generate little interest and do little for their resume. Vitali is going to retire soon and Wlad who is 32 or 33 and has very little left to accomplish probably will only fight til about 36 or 37 and they both need a huge win to solidify their ATG status and HOF position. Haye still has a huge career in front of him and is not held at the same standard as the brothers who are expected to fight the very best and be exciting. Haye will also get bigger purses when not fighting them

IMO, He's waiting for the Klitschko's to either a) retire or b) fade

Funny, Oleg struck me as a "hugely" intelligent man as well...and look how that turned out. Fact is, when Don King waves five million dollars under the Big Guy's nose in about four months, smart money says he takes the deal. Sorry, but we're talking human nature here. :good

    **** you.

Vlad sold most of his tickets based on the fact he was fighting Haye!

Even Eddie Chambers was on the radio saying how Haye has got people talking about HW boxing again.

    I know plenty of ****!

I was referring to Valuev's nose, not Oleg's. It was a response to a poster who claimed Valuev had retired. :D

Actually the Klitchko's are not that big at all in the states.

Why do you think they picked 'johnson' and now chambers?
