Well that's what I didn't understand either, he could have taken Marquez out after the knockdown I THINK but didn't even try. He probably wanted it to go the full 12 after two years off, if he finished it in a few rounds he might have asked for another fight before taking on Pac. I mean he did go the full 12 against Marquez and is still showing that he needs one more fight before Pac or hinting at least with all the bull**** coming from his team lately.

That's what Ali and Dundee said when their suspension was lifted if you remember, that they needed some fights to go long enough before they step up for the world title. It could be that or something else, I don't know but no one should take anything away from Marquez, he was there and didn't want to go anywhere till the end. He was throwing more punches in the 12th than Mayweather and showed more desire in my opinion.
