http://boxingtalk.com/pag/article.php?aid=19050 ARUM SPEAKS TO BOXINGTALK: PACQUIAO-MAYWEATHER DEAD By G. Leon Arum: "Mayweather never wanted the fight" Moments ago Manny Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum informed Boxingtalk.com that the last ditch effort to save the March 13 mega-fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr has failed. This content is protected and I'm not surprised. Floyd Mayweather never wanted to fight Manny Pacquiao my friend," said Arum who added that This content is protected to allow Pacquiao's final test before the fight to take place 24 days before the fight. Pacquiao's defamation suit against the Mayweather's and Golden Boy will move forward, as will the Top Rank-Golden Boy arbitration that will determine whether or not Golden Boy should still be allowed an interest in Manny Pacquiao. (11:50 PM ET)
well i think floyd will sign, he's just delaying then. He will have to answr why he didn't sign, he'll know if the fans think he is phony.
"scientists were brought in to explain to Mayweather how protected he was" but Mayweather refused" fraud is one determined mutha****a, determined to bugger off from a fight..wow
The following version is even better: http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4803490 "Manny accepted what was on the table and Mayweather rejected it. This content is protected He didn't want the fight. He never wanted the fight. I always knew the fight wouldn't happen."
who are these scientists?....it seems like 24 days would be way too big of a window. if random testing stopped at 24 days, and pac started juicing at that point, how long would it take for him to start seeing the benefits?....I would really like to see this broken down.
So in order to test before and after he would have about 20 days to be doped up training, and anything would have to be out of his system by the fight because of the immediate test afterward. So 20 days to turn into a killing machine? Seems a bit illogical.
yea I just don't know. I would like to see some articles from some drug experts on this matter. and I would like to know who these "scientists" were.
plus he'd have to be drug/hormone/steroid free by fight night because of the blood and urine testing right after, so the 24 day window gets even smaller. Like you, I'd really like to see a good breakdown of this. What substances can take effect in a 24 day window and still be flushed from the system quickly enough to avoid being detected after the fight? And if they do take effect, how effective could it be? I mean if were just taking to a very slight marginal positive effect on performance, it seems hard to believe that it would even be worth the trouble at all.
Boohoo Rooney. What have I told you for the past 2 weeks? Your idol is scared. Scared of a former flyweight champion.
