Would a don king have let this fight slip away???

Don King would have lost his contract with whoever fighter he's representing between Pacquiao and Floyd. The guy's a non-entity in boxing, why would you even resurrect his sorry ass?

 

Don King would of told Pac to just do the random testing if he were representing him and he would of told Floyd to just forget about the random testing.

If he were representing Pac theres a decent chance it would of been made if he were representing PBF we'd get the same outcome right now since Mayweather's team have pleaded him to just accept the terms but Floyd said no.

You must be one mental guy going off like that when obviously your attempt at trying to point the fault at someone else other than who else but Floyd was called out by my post.

Are you that dense to ignore the fact that even Floyd's appointed promoter Golden Boy was trying to convince him to sign the fight up to the last minute, or that this fight not getting off is the responsibility of Arum AND Golden Boy Promotions as promoters, not just Arum, but ultimately in the end it's Floyd Jr who did not want the fight.

If you're going to rant about the fight not getting made, it shouldn't be the promoters who you should target. It's clear who was insisting on certain matters which are definitely unreasonable.

Oh come on, if Bob Arum is going senile then what the hell is Don King now when he can't even keep his fighters under contract. I hear what you're saying about doing it old school as you would put it, but at this point do you really think someone can pull a Mafia-esque move without getting his ass hauled to court or worse in jail. Wasn't Bob's office himself raided a few years back by the FBI but surprisingly no charges were filed?

Arum didn't mishandle those initial claims, his mistake was he didn't play hardball from the start. He should have advised Pacquiao to sue both Mayweathers' asses the first time they went off about those steroid allegations. But maybe he believed it would be easier making the fight without a hardline stance considering his history with Floyd Jr.

Ultimately, short of having a sex scandal tape of Floyd and whoever, who could've forced him of fighting for a huge amount if in the first place there is no intention on his part to get in the ring with Pacquiao? No, you can't lay the blame on the promoters this time.

 

Arum never cared about the fight, he made the 'fight is off' statement at least 2-3 times before yesterday and he wasn't willing to negotiate worth squat thats why he had his son doing all of the talking with Schaefer. Co-sign this thread, Don brought the big names together with ease and cared about the sport (and the money) too much to ever let a fight like this fall through

No no no, you dumb and dumber clowns. Floyd went against his own appointed promoters, for crying out loud. He never had the intention to fight Pacquiao, for what reason is beside the point now, what matters is he never wanted the fight at all.

relax. all i'm saying is don king killed a man over $600 once. this fight would generate...what...80ish million?? the man would make entire zip codes cease breathing if you put that kind of $$ in front of him and then threatened to take it away? it's funny but it's not at the same time b/c its probably true.
