I hate to be devil's advocate but it says 'entered talks' and nothing has yet been confirmed. We shall have to sit on our hands and wait for something a little more solid first.

The thing is the advertisers dont know if it will be popular enough to warrent the initial investment! if they get the ball rolling and it does well im sure bigger fights will come

Look any kind of extra coverage we can get is good news. If Setanta can't keep it up for long then so be it. If they can then all the better. I'd just be glad of any extra boxing we can get on the box over here and any extra publicity for home base boxers and promoters can only be a good thing. Plus you can beat a bit of Bunce

Would Gary Hyde not be the man Setanta should be chasing up? Is he not likely to have Rigo and Acosta on FNF style bills in the states?

I tell you what, you can sign me up for a job in your entourage when you hit the big time. Theres many a fine looking woman in that supporters club and I'm just the man to pick off the stragglers. Just don't tell my missus!

 

Is the Moore -Sinclair fight on Setanta the first fight they will show or is there some international stuff before then.:hi:

I read in the Star that the Moore Sinclair fight is going to be shown delayed it wont go out live which is a shame. Have to say Setanta have the people who would make a good boxing team in the long term. Dont get me wrong Bunce would be a great in the studio but I would love to see Paul Dempsey presenting the program beside Bunce. Sky have been missing him big time during there boxing shows since he left. I hope it will be a long term fixture but live in the future and that we wont be waiting the best part of a week to see the fight. If the fight is Saturday night get it on by Sunday night at the latest.
