Raw talent: best fighters without training?

    Which fighters would be the best if fights were made on the spot and you had 5 minutes to get your trunks on and get into the ring?

    I'd pick James Toney. The guy can be out of shape, no sparring, and still makes it look easy.

    Mayorga would be another guy, maybe not so much because of exceptional talent, but more because he has a style that relies on physical and mental toughness, which can't really be trained.

    Toney is a good shout , but I dont think you can get past Hopkins for pure technique.

    i was just gonna say toney. especially considering the mother****er didn't even start til after high school and by his 20s was a p4p elite

    Joe Calzaghe. Towards the end of his career he didn't even spar at all because of his brittle hands, exceptional natural talent.

    Wilfred Benitez no argument whatsoever.

    He trained 3 days for Duran. And is known to **** prostitutes before a big fight

    I heard Wilfredo Benitez and Hector Camacho never trained very hard and they were still great!

    good ****ing call:good and 3 weeks training for leonard and he STILL put on that fight.

    Camacho never did a sit up until like 2004 or some **** and he sniffed coke ...waste of talent!
