If it's live you should ask Hatton if he honestly thinks he is worthy of a fight with PBF (should it go ahead) as many hardcore fans, including myself, don't think he is. If he could give an honest, objective answer to that question I'd be genuinely interested to hear what his response would be other than 'this is a business' or 'armchair fans don't know what they are on about'. Also, what does he think he has to do to gain the respect of boxing fans across the country.

Be good to hear what Witter has to say about his future at 147 as well:good.

    Losfer,
Would Lovemore N'Dou be OK? You get the idea...I want Mosley, but...get real.

    Adios.

Why? I think it's a perfectly legitimate question and it can be argued that loads of other British 147lbrs deserve the fight ahead of him, let alone genuine world-class welters who have been operating at the top of the 147lb tree for years by making their way up the hard way. I honestly don't see how the fight would even be marketed between Hatton and PBF anyway; Matt isn't exactly a big name over here, let alone in the States.

As for PBF, he should deservedly get stick for not facing a genuine name at 147 as well. If PBF-Hatton actually happens it shows just what a spoof the sport has become, IMHO.

Losfer, the 'get real' line was not aimed at you (you are 100 percent right)...it was aimed at all of us who expect too much and accept too little!
Let's draw up a list of fighters for Floyd and I will update it through the show.

    Adios.

    Witter Vs M Hatton :yep

Both as popular as the other and a lot of dislike in there too, perhaps.

To be honest steve and I said this to you at your show in wallington.

I would rather see Floyd fight Balco Boy Shane than Pacman. When was the last time floyd faught a 'great' at his weight. Lets see him fight someone his own size who has a chance.

Even Williams would be ok though I'm not totally sold on him.

Pacmans great but if he loses I will just say it's because he was smaller. I don't see how you can claim to be a great when all you do is beat guys who are the best at lower weights.

    Have a good show Bunce.

    I look forward to it!!!

    Will (Nottingham lift bloke)

Didn't think it was, mate. I'm not going to get offended at something posted on a boxing site anyway- this is a forum after all and we're all just debating whatever stories are hot at any given time.

PBF should fight Mosley should he beat Berto. This is the most competitive fight at the weight, IMO. I know that the world wants PBF-Pacquiao, but that seems very much off at this point in time and I still think that PBF wins that fight on points after dominating the mid-late rounds.

Anyone established at 147 would be great, though (Cotto, Clottey, Margo (even in light of the wrap controversy), Williams, et al). Hand-picking smaller guys and 'smart business moves' is pathetic given Mayweather's natural talent. He doesn't give himself the opportunities to show the world just how good he is and, at this point in time, that's how he'll be remembered as well.

Floyd has to fight the Mosley Berto winner doesn't he?

Pacman has feasted on Floyd's leftovers, so maybe he could turn the tables and fight Cotto?

Is the show on at 8? Make sure you ask Witter if he knows when he will be fighting again and if he knows what level of opponent it will be. Personally, I would like to see him in against O'Donnell - wouldn't be hard to make the fight and it would let us know what Witter has left against a decent domestic operator. What I don't want to see is him against a journeyman - I know its a new weight for him, but time isn't on his side!

I tuned in thinking it was 7, but Bunce is doing a general sports show 7-8 with the boxing hour at 8
