definately wont be then as HBO will be doing Wlad-Chambers on March 20th. might get a small showtime or top rank PPV show at Treasure Island or the Palms but i dont think there will be any boxing that weekend.

 

March 20th is the date Arum is talking about for Pacquiao's next fight (possibly Foreman). Wlad/Chambers is in Germany so will be earlier in the day.

 

never seen HBO do a world champioship boxing and a PPV on the same day before and Floyd probably fights on the 13th so HBO PPVs on back to back weekends is also a no no. Floyd or Pac will get the 13th and then the other probably fights a few weeks later.

 

Given the kind of opponents that are being discussed, it's not certain that either fight would be PPV.

 

Khan can win this if he stays out the way and runs all night using his speed, Hope the fight is in America also because if Khan gets hit on the chin over there they can all see that funny dance what he does what we all seen against Prescott.

 

I'm really surprised by the number of posts people have made in support of khan winning this. I genuinely feel khan has a 40% chance of beating maidana. If the maidana that fought Ortiz comes out to play, I can't see khan's guard holding up against maidana's sporadic looping right hooks to the head. It will be an awesome fight to watch due to maidana being a pressure figher, but unlike gomez have more power and drive to keep coming at khan,

 

Ortiz is (a) **** and (b) fought absolutely shockingly against Maidana. And he still had Maidana on the floor everytime he hit him.

 

according to the scene, Roach is saying that he is going to have Khan vacate as Maidana is too dangerous

 

First of all, the quotes that built this up were from The Sun (The most bullshitest newspaper you'll ever come across) and also Khan, his promoter and Freddie roach have recently said they'd happily take on Marcos Maidana.
